How to choose the right internal door
There are so many options to choose from when it comes to internal doors, dependant on a number of factors.
We’ve put together some things to take into consideration when choosing the doorsets for a commercial refurbishment or a new fit-out.
Things to consider
- Will it be exposed to extreme traffic?
- Is the door going to be part of the fire protection within the building?
- Does the door need to reflect company branding?
- Is the door going to be part of a quiet area or in a room that requires a level of privacy?
- Does the door require vision panels?
- Does the door need to be timber or steel?
These doors are manufactured with either a particle-board core, or a laminated timber core. They are available in a wide range of finishes with various fire and acoustic ratings available. These are durable doors making them ideal for heavier duty performance requirements and increased traffic. Both aesthetically pleasing and quality driven, either with or without vision panels, they are ideal in any sector, either as a Single Leaf, Leaf and a Half or Double Leaf door.
NationPlus steel doors
These doors are suitable for both external & internal use, in most sectors. These doors are manufactured using corrosion resistant Zintec/Aluzinc sheets and are available in a wide variety of colours and finishes. They have a self-supporting resin-impregnated honeycomb core and are optionally Mineral Wool or Solid Timber. We recommend using the Polyester Powder coated finish from our standard colour range, although you do have a few options to choose from i.e. polyester powder coated from a non-standard colour range, PVC laminate from standard range, Woodgrain PVC laminate or Stainless steel, brushed, polished, or patterned. These doors are also available with or without vision panels and/or Louvre panels, overhead panels or sidelong panels.
Our doors undergo rigorous fire, mechanical, thermal and acoustic testing, ensuring that only the highest standards are maintained.
